College Prep for Grieving Families

Join college admissions expert Jacques Steinberg, UPenn dean of admissions Eric Furda, and author Allison Gilbert for this FREE Zoom event. We’ll be tackling your most challenging college admissions questions, such as:

  • Is it ever a good idea to write about grief in the Common App and supplemental essays?
  • If a student has lost a parent and is now facing financial hardship, what are the best strategies for pursuing financial aid?
  • Once a grieving student is on campus, is there a difference among schools about the kinds of mental health resources available?

Steinberg and Furda are co-authors of the new book, The College Conversation, a resource for parents and students to reduce stress and confusion about the college admissions process.
